First Lost Tooth!

Last night Amelia lost her first tooth!  It had been loose for a very long time, and the grownup tooth is already ready to come in.  She came into my room at bedtime and told me that she was looking in the mirror, and noticed that her tooth was gone.  We think while she was brushing her teeth her tooth came out and went down the drain :)  The tooth fairy is coming tonight, even though we don't have the actual tooth, she is making an exception.

Today I was taking a nap and when I came downstairs, this is what I found! They were all playing a game together and I either slept through the fighting and whining, or they were genuinely getting along.  I had to record this moment.

Other Funny Moments:

One night at dinner Luke said, "Let's talk about politics!"  Then, "What is politics?"  Ha ha.

Today in the van on the way to BSF Emma was telling me that she will not be a vegan when she grows up. She might be a vegetarian, but being vegan is too off-limits.  She plans to get married and live across the street from us :)

More pictures from the last few weeks...

Luke dressed like Daddy.

Emma dressed as Mommy.  Notice how the pants are almost the right length.

Sometimes they do get along!

Sweet sisters.  I love how close they are.

Miscellaneous Pictures

I have gotten far behind with posting our family pictures over the last few weeks!  Here are some of my favorites from March/April - we celebrated 3 family birthdays.

Some of the kids from Emma's CC class on Celebration Day.  They were dressed as pilgrims, Indians, or immigrants.

The Star Wars cake I made for Luke and Pap Pap's birthdays.  This was my first experiment with fondant!

The birthday boy turning 5.

The Star Wars balloons he ordered from Kroger.  They were a big hit.

Emma got a brand new bike for her 8th birthday!

Luke wanted fish for his birthday - here are Nibbly and Big Daddy.

And this is Shiny (not pictured: Goldie)

A fun accessory for the fish tank.

Our Hike to Dragon's Tooth

Our first trip to Dragon's Tooth!

The beautiful view from the top of the 5 mile hike

Luke wants to move to the top of the mountain.  Emma is going to set up a lemonade stand.

The kids loved a lizard that they spotted on the rocks.

Joel climbed to the highest dragon's tooth.  We stayed on lower ground
